It was a sunny, crisp fall day for the late afternoon match. The crowd at the Charlotte Valley Central School soccer fields in Davenport was small yet loud. The stands were expressive for both sides. Following the game goalkeeper Clupher of Charlotte Valley Wildcats spoke about his mindset heading into the game. “Last time we played them, we lost by 5,” he explained. “So, I was just trying to make it a 0-0 game going into overtime in the second half there.”
